Re: My "low 'n' slow" toyota tacoma (hi-lux)
here are more pics, lol, this is the final ride height for the toyota!
here is the interior tub, i had already cut about 1/4in off the top edge of the tub, to help lower the body over the chassis!
here is more pics of the chassis
(if you noticed i did the "over and under trick", i placed the rear axle on the inside of the springs to help lower the truck!)
here is my very first attempt at making the rear roll pan! it came out ok, but not great!
more to come!!!!!

Re: My "low 'n' slow" toyota tacoma (hi-lux)
ok, here are the last of the pics (for now, lol) but this is my very first attempt to make a clam style opeing hood, i think it turned it out good!
well thats all for now! well this model has been stalled for a long time now, i have to make a bed cover for the bed, and i need to put the brakes on the front wheels, and glue the front wheels on, and i also need to make tail lights for the rear too! lol, i am hoping i can finish it soon, but i have no clue!

Re: My "low 'n' slow" toyota tacoma (hi-lux)
well here is finally an update!!!!!!!!! WOO-HOO!!!!!! LOL, but yeah, here you go!
i finally finished the firewall, and installed it!
i glued on the diff cover, lol
here is my finished metal exhaust, lol, after some adjustments, its done! (and oh yeah, its straight through, no cat, and no muffler, totaly illegal) it follows the street tuner truck theme, lol
here is my custom exhaust tip!
here is the main part of my tail lights, it will have to do for now!!!!!!!!
these are the clear tail light lenses!!!!!
ok, well here is another last minute idea, lol, the hood kept falling done, so i used some of the clear tree rod, and i made into a hood prop!
here i finished the brakes for the front wheels, now i just have to attach the body then i can glue the wheels on!

Re: My "low 'n' slow" toyota tacoma (hi-lux)
well time for a little update!
i got the body glued to the chassis, and glue the front wheels on!
and i glued on the diff cover AGAIN! and the tie rod end
and these is what i am going to use to make the bed cover! its clear plastic!
so i have to touch up the paint, and make and finish the bed cover, and glue on the intake manifold! and then it should be done!!!
